NEWS

The Electronic Communications Code 1984 that has provided the framework to build our current mobile phone networks was repealed on 28th December 2017 and replaced with the "New Code" inserted into the 2003 Act as Schedule 3 of that Act.

The New Code grants operators such as EE, Vodafone , BT & many other companies, statutory rights to install equipment on land in certain circumstances. It appears more complex than before. Land owners need to seek expert advice immediately if an operator contacts them or seeks to modify terms.

Hub Telecoms Consultancy Ltd are based in London and have over 20 years of involvement in the mobile phone industry at both grass roots level and within senior management acting initially for operators and now only for landlords. We use our knowledge and experience to provide our clients with specialist advice and assistance relating to the management of mobile phone operators and their multitude of contractors.

Our ethos is to provide a service that protects our clients assets and operations whilst adding value to their estate.

The key to our success is our knowledge of the industry and our ability to understand and focus on our clients' requirements. This enables us to effectively communicate with all parties - allowing our clients to concentrate on their core business.

Whilst Hub Telecoms Consultancy Limited does not give legal advice, our experience of working with solicitors enables us to help our clients use their solicitors' time cost effectively.

We also network with other specialist telecoms agents and solicitors to ensure that we are aware of any changes or events that could impact upon our clients.

Do not hesitate to contact us especially if you have recently received contact or a formal notice from an agent, solicitors or surveyor acting for a mobile phone operator. The New Telecoms Code imposes time limits within which you may have to respond and even allowing a surveyor on to your land could be seen to be "opening the door" to the "compulsory acquisition" of your land. Before you respond, get advice.
